Introducing Dr. Bennett Werner, an Elite and Founding Medical Expert

HealthTap is pleased to feature Dr. Bennett Werner, a Cardiologist at the Cleveland Clinic Wooster Family Health Center based in Wooster, Ohio. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, Dr. Werner’s special interests include Clinical and Invasive Cardiology, Echocardiography, and diagnostic heart catheterizations.

From his experience, a complaint he frequently hears from patients “is that there hasn’t been time during their provider visits to review all the issues they have about their condition.” Through HealthTap, Dr. Werner has been able to help thousands outside of regular visits, receiving over 1,200 “Thanks” from users and 9,300 “Agrees” from colleagues for his insightful answers. He likes “HealthTap because it provides a much needed free service to health consumers who have questions and don’t know where to turn. While the Internet provides a wealth of information, it can easily be overwhelming and often it’s hard to find the answers to specific concerns. HealthTap allows people to ask questions and get a personalized answer from a physician in the non-threatening surroundings of their own home after they’ve had time to think about what is really troubling them.”

Throughout his career, Dr. Werner has held many teaching positions and has been a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention. “I sincerely enjoy helping people. There is nothing more gratifying than knowing that there is something that you do that makes a positive impact in someone’s life.” Dr. Werner’s first place for “Being Caring” in Cleveland, OH makes his passion for his patients apparent.
